Luisa Kahlfeldt is a product designer and creative consultant based in Berlin, Germany. She is the founder of Rayas Collective and Sumo Baby.

Luisa graduated with a First Class (Hons) Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins in London and completed her Master’s degree at the écal in Lausanne, Switzerland. She previously worked for Barber Osgerby in London and Konstantin Grcic Design in Berlin. 

She is the recipient of the 2018 Fondation USM Design Grant and the 2019 Swiss James Dyson Award. In 2021 her work was awarded the German Sustainability Award and the Red Dot Design Award. 

In addition to her design practice, Luisa regularly teaches as a visiting lecturer at institutions such as the University of the Arts Berlin, Central Saint Martins, and ECAL.
